The Nantucket Hotel & Resort

Almost Idyllic, rising steps create a sweeping entry to this gorgeous hotel, leading into a warm entry hall and a hotel staff that usually give you a hardy greeting. The hotel has all the amenities d, Breeze the restaurant with wonderful meals and an attentive staff, 2 lovely pools and a hot tub that looked inviting had the weather been warmer, a nicely arranged workout facility, a spa area and a great game room area fully stuffed with most all the popular games, and a cozy sitting area near the entry as well as a long porch with plenty of room to relax. The hotel is conveniently located near the shops and restaurants around Main Street and most any place on the island can be reach easily through an Uber. So why 4 stars for what should have been a 5 star experience? When you pay what you do at the Nantucket, everything should ring 5 star service yet, On our last day I asked for a late checkout to the normal 10 am time since we had a noon flight. They acted like I had asked for the moon. They said they would have to get back later, and reluctantly gave us another hour. Then I asked for a ride to the airport, which they had continually offered during the week and was told they didn’t go to the airport, a 13 minute drive. He did come later offering a ride past the time needed. So, when you want 5 stars, be great, not just good.

The Nantucket Hotel certainly knows how to make you feel welcome, and comfortable. The hospitality from the time you arrive is superb. The staff possess a talent of making you feel like a VIP throughout your stay. Each day there was something truly wonderful that made us realize how lucky we were to find The Nantucket. P.S. While you're there buy a T-shirt, or sweatshirt. Every day you wear it, you'll remember how great your stay was!

The suite was absolutely beautiful, clean and comfortable. Full kitchen if you choose to cook! The property is beautiful. It was early May so the pool was not opened yet, but I can only imagine sitting and relaxing there soaking up the sun. Breeze restaurant served a plentiful delicious continental breakfast. Angel and Nicole at the front desk were so helpful and professional giving us tips for departure. Omar was friendly and helpful in taking our bags to the Ferry so we could comfortably walk around town before we left. Kate the amazing concierge gave us two dinner recommendations that we loved.

It's always consistently excellent at the Nantucket Hotel. The staff are very friendly and approachable, helpful, and accommodating. The rooms are spacious, wonderfully decorated, and always pristine. We will continue to go back, every year.

This was my wife and I first trip to Nantucket Island. I picked Nantucket Hotel because of the location in town. I am beyond glad I did. The hotel and staff made the trip a beyond expectation trip. The Hotel was great but the staff was the best part

We travelled to Nantucket for business and I feel compelled to write how fantastic this hotel and staff were. We were picked up at the ferry (assumed we would have to take a cab) and brought to our hotel, then delivered to and picked up from our meeting and brought to our restaurant for dinner. The rooms were amazing with every need met. The following morning we were delivered to our next meeting and picked up again afterwards by the hotel. We had checked out but they held our luggage and even delivered it to the ferry dock for us hours later. We weren't expecting that level of service -- John (I think Santa Ana?) was fantastic, friendly and accommodating. Wished we could have stayed longer but really looking forward to returning!
